Romania removes theory of evolution from schools: moves closer to stone age / Scrape TV - The World on your side

I'm very happy that this happened. Evolution is not scientifically proven. And idiots who believe Darwin was correct would look at the subtitle on the title page of "The Origin of the Species" they would read "Preservation of the White & Yellow Races". Evolution was nothing more than racial ploy; a way to undermine non-white or yellow skin tones.

There are many things wrong with Romania, one of them being not teaching their kids about their constitution or laws. I don't believe that any book should be banned and therefore don't agree with the university banning books. Knowledge is the beginning of wisdom. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I'm not afraid of my kids rejecting creation and embracing evolution. I will explain to them the THEORY, as that is all it is, is a theory; of evolution as they get into these subjects in school. I teach them extra stuff at home anyway. Even if we were still in the U.S. I would be supplementing their reading curriculum at home so that they would have a broader education and scope, so that they could question their teachers to see what holds water and what doesn't.

So that people would "SEE the sin".  It was a sign of shame to the bearer.

Even though both have pants that show their cracks - musicans generally have much sexier cracks, rock hard abs, and mysterirous air.  Where plumbers are dirty, smelly, and usually have a Homer Simpson mentality. Actually they usually look like Homer too.

I have always wondered this.

No.  But for 10 million, yeah, I'd swim it.

i try to.  Sometimes it takes LOTS of prayer.

Um NO!

Depends on 2 things.  1st if you are sitting in a seat before the wings or after.  2nd are you wearing a parachute.  If you are before the wings, doesn't matter, you will more than likely get sucked into the engine.  If after, you will live if you have a parachute.  I think. Unless all your air gets sucked out of your lungs in the process.

  I recently blogged about a pastor I know being investigated fro Fraud by the feds.  That was the straw that broke the camel's back for me where "organized churches" are concerned.  I have been in Romania for nearly a year now, and have been to 1 church service since we've been here, I don't understand the language yet.  And if I can't understand what they are saying I don't know if scripture is being misused or not.  Yes, my husband knows the language, it's his native language, but it's not the same.  I NEED to hear and understand for myself.  I can now understand what he went through when he first got to the U.S. and barely knew any English.

  I said all that to say this.  I am completely and totally fed up with the churches.  It is the church that we were warned of - the church who only wants their ears tickled, the church who wants to name it and claim it by taking Romans 4:17 COMPLETELY out of context.  It is the church that believes in the Holy Laughter Movement, the whole slain in the spirit thing, and the belief/doctrine (mainly in the pentecostal and charismatic churches) that speaking in tongues is the ONLY evidence of being baptised by the Holy Spirit.  They should really re-read Corintians 12 again.  Speaking in tongues is a GIFT of the holy spirit, not evidence of it.  If that is the case, than why not prophesing being used as evidence of being baptised by the Holy Spirit???  STOP TWISTING SCRIPTURE to fit your pre-conceived notions, or beliefs that make you feel better about it all!!! 

  Stop people like Joel Osteen who won't stand up for God's word and call sin what it is.  Stop the prejudiced preachers like Billy Graham, stop the snake-oil salesmen like Benny Hinn, stop the new-age mixed with "christianity" of Rick Warren, etc., etc.  Do I really need to keep listing them.

  For anyone who wants to say that I shouldn't be judging, yes I should, we are commanded to call out those that would twist and pervert scripture, and spread false doctrines, etc.  As a Christian it is our duty, nay our "ministry" to expose the lies, and those who spread the lies.

  I'm tired of all it all.  I'm tired of self proclaimed bishops and pastors who lie, cheat, steal, fornicate, hold bitterness, backbite and backstab when away from the pul-pit.  Who bully people, who confuse baby christians with half truths, and convoluted doctrines, etc. 

  As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.  That's it. I don't need anything other than God's word and love for me and my family.  We can have our own fellowship.  Without the hypocrisy.

Meaning of the 12 Days of Christmas

  So I recieved an email explaining the meaning behind that strange Christmas Carol “The 12 Days of Christmas”  I found it very interesting, and behind Silent Night and O Holy Night, I believe is now a favorite Carol of mine.  I look forward to teaching my kids to sing it and the meaning behind it.  So here it is, the information I recieved on it:

 

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics.  It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality which the children could remember. 

-The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.

-Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.

-Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.

-The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

-The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.

-The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.

-Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.

-The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.

-Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness,

Gentleness, and Self Control.

-The ten lords a-leaping were the ten commandments.

-The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.

-The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.
