In my last post, I mentioned Raoul Pop. He has interviewed me for his viral series entitled "Romania Through Their Eyes". He finally finished editing it and published it just after New Year. So here it is, my World Wide Web video debut. ;p
Enjoy! And please make sure to check out the other ex-pats that Raoul has interviewed as well as his wife, Ligia's videos on YouTube: "Ligia's Kitchen".

I'm so proud... *sniff*sniff* I knew her when... :D Great work! <3
I really enjoyed this video. Well done, you are so comfortable and charming in front of the cameras. Been following your blog for a while and I admire your courage and perseverance. I was born in Tulcea but left when I was a kid (now I live in Canada). It's tough out there and I hope things have improved since. Back in the day there was a rude saying about my hometown. "Tulcea este la curul pamintului", please forgive the rude word :)
I do miss the laid-back lifestyle and the Danube. Wish you and your family much happiness and health.
Thanks Kiki! I sure didn't feel comfortable in front of the camera, but glad to know it didn't seem like it! :)
I don't think too much has changed here in Tulcea, I think it's pretty much the same as it always was, only now they're getting bigger stores, like Dedeman, etc. like they have in larger cities like Constanta, etc.
But I like it here, it is like you said, very laid back and peaceful for the most part.
